Private jet catering at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport (LFPB / LBG), Paris

Catering to your aircraft in Paris.

Le Bourget runs on Paris diaries: Monday-morning rotations, fashion week charters, and one June odd year when the whole field fills for the air show. We cook and pack for the galley you actually have and hand over at your FBO.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

Private jet catering with local specialities from Paris

Our private jet platters for Le Bourget start with bread. A baguette de tradition holds its crust for about an hour; after that we send it split and wrapped, ready for ninety seconds in the oven. Île-de-France local specialities are mostly cold and carve well: terrine, jambon de Paris, and the brie de Meaux and brie de Melun, packed rind-up in their own paper.

On an inflight menu we keep sauces in pots and herbs apart. A Paris-style cabin lunch is lentils or green beans, cold roast poultry with mustard on the side, and a tart that needs only a plate. For the private jet menu we also pack gourmet inflight meals and private jet snacks in small portions: more to taste, less to re-plate. Private jet food from the Paris basin travels better in small cuts.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport (LFPB)

Museum hangars and the old terminal share the field with the executive ramps, and Le Bourget is anything but quiet in the weeks around the Paris Air Show or fashion week. Private jet catering here means the bread, cheese and pastry that Paris crews expect, packed to survive a short taxi and a cold drawer. Inflight catering for a Falcon on a morning rotation reads very differently from aviation catering for a charter held by fog, and business aviation catering orders tend to change twice before the slot. Executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering both start with the same question: what does the galley on that tail actually hold. For cabin crew meals, the jumpseat box is packed separately from the guest trays.

Business aviationOur core

Business aviation catering at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport (LBG)

Business jet catering at Le Bourget is mostly morning-out, evening-back: a corporate jet catering order for four on a Gulfstream or Falcon, a breakfast tray before a Dubai sector, a lunch box for the return. VIP flight catering and charter flight catering for fashion-week and luxury-trade clients lean light and plated, nothing that sweats in the drawer. Luxury inflight catering from a private jet chef means a bespoke menu built round a Paris source list: viennoiserie, charcuterie, a French cheese board with its own knife, and a dessert that does not need an oven. Tell us the type and the seat plan; we write the menu for the galley on board.

State & royalDiscretion, protocol

Government flight and VIP aviation catering at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport

Government flight catering at Le Bourget follows the rhythm of the capital's institutions: ministerial shuttles, foreign delegations, visits that land and leave on the same day. Head of state flight catering and VIP aviation catering go through protocol before anything is cooked, with a named team, traceable ingredients and seat numbers on the labels, never names. For state visit aircraft catering, the security cordon fixes the delivery window, so the handover time is agreed before the slot, not at the gate.

Special meals

Special meals and allergen free inflight catering at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport

At Le Bourget, a gluten-free request fights the local bread culture: baguette crumbs travel on every board and in every kitchen. Special meals are cooked and packed on separate boards, in sealed boxes, with the seat number only on the label. Kosher and halal are sourced and sealed so the seal is broken at the seat, not in the galley; vegan and allergen free meals are written against the same recipe, with the crouton and the butter noted. Kids meals are portioned small and kept away from the nuts that appear in French pastry.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals and cockpit meals in Paris (LFPB)

Crew meals are on request, ordered with the passenger menu and invoiced like the rest of the order. For short Le Bourget turnarounds, flight crew meals come boxed: a croque, a salad, fruit, something a captain can eat with one hand. Pilot meals can be two different dishes, so the captain and first officer never share a plate: different meals for pilots, labelled CREW, never by name. Crew catering for the cabin goes in a separate box marked for the jumpseat, with the reheat time on the lid, and cabin crew meals and cockpit meals are handed over with the order at the aircraft. Crew meal boxes stay sealed until the sector is airborne.

Airport catering at the FBO or general aviation terminal, Paris-Le Bourget International Airport

FBO catering at Le Bourget is a matter of timing against the slot: we deliver to the FBO or handling agent at the time agreed, not when the van is free. Catering delivery to the FBO means the general aviation terminal door, with ground handling catering cleared for the airside entry. Handling agent catering is coordinated by email or phone, and your handler tells us which gate and which ramp. Orders ideally reach us ten hours before departure; last-minute requests are accepted and worked from the same list, with the product that is in the kitchen that day.

Large cabin jet catering with a high loader at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport (LBG)

Galley catering starts with the type: a Phenom or Citation has a single drawer and a small oven, a Global or Falcon 7X has a larger galley with a convection oven, and a Boeing business jet has a full service area. Airside catering delivery is sized to the door: a small van for light jets, a high loader for larger cabins. Aircraft provisioning on the Le Bourget ramp is arranged through the handling agent, who tells us the vehicle limits. We pack by the galley you have, not the one on the brochure.

About the airportLFPB / LBG

About Paris-Le Bourget International Airport (LBG): airport catering for business aviation

Le Bourget is where Paris keeps its business aviation: a general aviation terminal, several FBOs and a ramp history that includes the first air shows. Airport catering here serves corporate jets, charters and government arrivals, and the business aviation hub sees its traffic climb in air show weeks and around fashion week. FBO services and ground handling services run through the handlers on the field, and the airport is closed to scheduled airline traffic, so every ramp is general aviation.

Business aviation

The odd-year June air show, fashion weeks in March and September, and the winter ski-flight peak shape the calendar. In those weeks slots tighten, ramp parking runs short and short-notice departures multiply. Paris winters bring fog and de-icing delays, so trays are packed to hold an extra hour in the drawer without losing their edge.

Customs & food import

France is in the EU: catering for flights within the EU moves freely, but products of animal origin entering from outside the EU face restrictions. Meat and dairy brought on board from non-EU origin are limited by customs, and French authorities can inspect them. Plan the return leg's food from Paris, not from the departure point, and tell us which airports you are flying to.

★★★★★VIP AIRLINER
“Food presentation mattered to our 8 guests, but an evening cabin service also had to be considered when organising roasted vegetable bowls with separate dressings at LFPB. Our request to The Galley Girls focused on the main courses, with enough detail to distinguish passenger portions from additional provisions. The quantities of salads matched our service plan, leaving us comfortable with the order before the final briefing. My search for "private jet catering near me" led to a practical conversation about meal organisation.”

★★★★★LIGHT JET
“Nothing about the 5 guest order at LBG called for excess complexity: just roasted chicken and seasonal vegetables and sensible planning for several individual meal preferences. The Galley Girls grouped the canapés by service, which was more useful to us than simply receiving a list of dishes. With private jet catering menu, careful attention to portion planning matters as much to our crew as the menu itself. We left the fruit plates stored until needed, which kept the first service manageable and reduced unnecessary handling.”

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“Menu approval at Paris-Le Bourget International Airport covered fresh fruit and breakfast pastries for 10 guests, leaving us to organise the service around a late menu amendment. The order made private aviation catering feel manageable because the cabin service sequence had been considered beforehand. The Galley Girls labelled the salads in line with our brief, so the cabin team could identify the relevant portions quickly. I found the fruit plates without searching through every box, a small detail that mattered during the final cabin checks.”

The Paris-Le Bourget International questionsAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost out of Le Bourget?+

A tray built around a local product shifts the cost more than the headcount does: a Brie de Meaux board with figs costs less than a seasonal lobster salad for six, and a jambon-beurre lunch less than a seared duck breast. Send the headcount and the menu you have in mind, and we price the order line by line.

What is the lead time for catering at Le Bourget, with French food-import rules?+

Because French and EU rules limit what comes in from outside, we source locally in Paris and the order is easier when it reaches us ten hours before departure. Last-minute orders are handled from stock, but the more specific the menu, the earlier we need the call.

What do I need to know about customs for catering on a Le Bourget flight?+

Customs depends on where the flight is going and what it carries. A Falcon 2000 with a small galley is limited in what can be loaded, and anything of non-EU animal origin has to be declared. Tell us the type, the route and the number of seats, and we pack to stay inside the rules.

Can you bring food on a private jet from Le Bourget?+

Yes for personal items, but winter fog and de-icing windows can stretch a departure, so food that was packed for a quick turn may sit in the drawer for hours. We recommend ordering catering that holds, and keeping personal food sealed and separate from the galley trays.

Is catering part of a charter out of Le Bourget?+

No. Catering is not part of the charter: it is ordered separately and invoiced on its own. If you are ordering the return leg from here, send us the tail, the time and the seat plan for the way back, and we hand over at your FBO.
