Catering to your aircraft in Jeddah.

Jeddah sits on the Red Sea at 48 ft, and the Hajj and Umrah calendar sets the pace of the apron far more than any timetable. We cook for the galley you actually have and hand it over at the aircraft, through your FBO or handling agent.

Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

Fourteen years on VIP and head-of-state cabins. Can plate for twelve in a G650 galley and still land it hot.

The one who reads every diet card twice. If it says no cross-contact, it means no cross-contact.

The local tableCooked so it travels

Regional dishes of Jeddah for jet catering at JED

Jeddah belongs to the Makkah Region, and the table is Hejazi: slow-cooked lamb over rice, grilled Red Sea fish, dates from Medina, cardamom coffee. A private jet menu built here starts from those, not from a generic European template. Our inflight menu for OEJN leans on local specialities because guests flying out of JED often ask for exactly what they ate in the city.

Private jet food from Jeddah has to survive Red Sea humidity before it reaches the aircraft, so we favour dishes that hold their texture: marinated grilled fish, spiced rice, stuffed vine leaves, sambousek, date and tahini sweets. The local specialities of the Makkah Region travel well when they are plated cold or sealed hot, and we label each one by seat so the crew re-plates without guessing.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at King Abdulaziz International Airport (OEJN)

Hajj season turns OEJN into one of the busiest business aviation stages in the Kingdom, and the trays leaving the kitchen are built for that: halal by default in spirit, labelled by seat, packed for Red Sea humidity. Private jet catering here is planned around the apron slot and the heat on the ramp. We also supply inflight catering and in-flight catering for the long sectors out of JED, aviation catering for operators who rotate crews, and cabin crew meals for the people working the cabin.

Halal, kosher and kids meals: inflight catering at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED)

Halal is the baseline in Jeddah, so the real work is elsewhere: kosher requests need a sealed, separately sourced meal that stays closed until the seat; vegan, gluten free and allergen free cards have to be checked against a cuisine rich in sesame, nuts and wheat pastry. Special meals and kids meals are marked on the diet card and matched to the seat plan.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Pilot meals and crew meals at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED)

Flight crew meals out of JED are an on-request line of the order, billed with everything else and never bundled in. The captain and first officer can have different meals for pilots, which matters on a hot Red Sea ramp where nobody wants the same rice twice. Pilot meals and cockpit meals travel as crew meal boxes marked CREW, built to be eaten one-handed between radio calls. Crew catering on a Hajj-season rotation also covers the cabin: a second box for the flight attendant, held dry and sealed against the humidity.

Airport catering at the FBO or general aviation terminal, King Abdulaziz International Airport

We deliver by arrangement with your FBO: the handling agent catering contact, the access pass and the aircraft stand are agreed first. FBO catering at JED, ground handling catering, and catering delivery to the general aviation terminal are coordinated so the trays reach the door without a second trip.

Large cabin jet catering with a high loader at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED)

Larger cabins mean a high loader and an airside run, and OEJN handles that daily for the Hajj fleet. Galley catering is loaded to the aircraft's own ovens and drawers; airside catering delivery runs through the handling agent, and aircraft provisioning is confirmed against the tail before the truck moves.

About the airportOEJN / JED

About King Abdulaziz International Airport: business aviation and airport catering

OEJN is the main airport for Jeddah and the Red Sea coast, a business aviation hub that sits beside one of the world's busiest pilgrim operations. Airport catering for general aviation here has to work around that: FBO services and ground handling services run on the apron's own rhythm.

Business aviation

Business aviation catering at JED peaks with Hajj and Umrah, Ramadan evenings and the winter coastal season. Executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering often share the apron with long-haul charters, and cabin crew meals, inflight catering and in-flight catering are ordered alongside aviation catering for the full rotation.

Customs & food import

Saudi Arabia restricts pork, alcohol and some imported meat, and food brought in from abroad must be declared. Customs checks at OEJN affect special meals first, so we source and cook locally, seal each tray and label it for the seat.

★★★★★CREW MEALS
“The 11 passenger portions of mushroom risotto and a green salad were the easy part; managing two separate meal services at OEJN took more planning. This experience of flight catering gave us a useful reference for managing final order confirmation on another departure. The Galley Girls updated the fruit plates in the written order and sent back a confirmation that clearly showed our amendments. There was no need to reconstruct the starters quantities from several messages during the final departure checks.”

★★★★★GOVERNMENT
“Nothing about the 12 guest order at JED called for excess complexity: just yoghurt pots and fresh berries and sensible planning for different crew meal preferences. The cabin service sequence stood out more than any sales pitch about flight catering services. The desserts from The Galley Girls were organised around the cabin plan, with the later service items kept apart. Our colleague could take over the salads without asking where every component had been placed during preparation.”

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“Before our guests boarded at King Abdulaziz International Airport, we needed a light pasta dish with grilled vegetables divided into 6 portions suitable for several individual meal preferences. The Galley Girls used a readable packing list for the sandwiches, which helped when two colleagues checked the order together. We could distinguish the desserts at a glance instead of lifting lids just to establish what belonged to each service. I would discuss airline catering with them again, especially when storage requirements needs careful coordination.”

The King Abdulaziz International questionsAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost at Jeddah?+

Departure season matters at JED. A Ramadan evening, a Hajj week and an ordinary July each price a private jet catering order differently, because ingredients, staffing and ramp access all shift with them.

What is the lead time for catering at OEJN?+

Order around the ingredient you want. A Medina date platter is simple to add; a sayadieh for eight benefits from notice. We handle last-minute requests with the dishes that travel best.

What about customs when catering a flight out of Jeddah?+

Saudi import rules are strict on meat and alcohol-based ingredients. For a diet card that requires certified products, we plan the meal around locally available certified items and tell you what clears.

Can you bring food from home onto a private jet at Jeddah?+

Possible in principle, difficult in practice. On a long sector out of JED with two services, outside food has to clear customs, survive the Red Sea heat on the ramp and fit the galley. Ordering locally avoids all three problems.

Is catering part of a charter into Jeddah?+

No. Whether the flight leaves late at night or at first light, food sits outside the charter price here: it is a separate order with its own invoice, agreed against the tail and the departure slot.
