Short repositioning legs are the cheapest orders we handle at KWL, because only crew eat. When passengers join, the cost grows with the dishes you pick. Local seasonal produce such as pomelo or osmanthus is quoted at market value.
Government flights come with checks that ordinary charters skip, so the lead time is set by that process, not by the kitchen. Tell us early and we plan around your protocol office; if the flight changes late, we adapt.
Customs rules in China apply to international catering uplifts, and a tight slot at KWL leaves little room for delay. Locally prepared food avoids import problems, which is one more reason we cook in-country rather than bring items in.
Aircraft type decides a lot here: size of the galley, oven or no oven, drawer space. Crew can bring food, but customs in China may stop fresh items, so ordering through us avoids the issue.
