For crew catering at SACT you tell us the tail and the number of crew, and crew meals are packed separately from the passenger order. Flight crew meals can be hot or cold; pilot meals and cockpit meals are boxed for one hand. Crew meal boxes are marked CREW, and different meals for pilots are made on request. Crew meals are invoiced as part of the order, never offered free.
At Chamical the hand-over happens where the field allows: the general aviation terminal door or the foot of the aircraft, whichever your handling agent opens that day. FBO catering for SACT travels in sealed boxes, one per galley compartment, and ground handling catering means we agree the access route with the handling agent before the slot. Aircraft at Chamical are mostly light and mid-size business jets and turboprops, so galley catering usually travels by hand through the door rather than by high loader. Argentine food-import rules are the main thing to settle here: if any product comes from abroad, customs paperwork comes first. Local La Rioja produce is simpler, and last-minute orders are handled when the menu stays local.
Customs for official flights is a coordination question: who signs off, who receives. We work with your handling agent, use regional products, and keep a named team on the order from start to handover.
