We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

What Taba brings to your in-flight catering (TCP)

Taba International serves a stretch of the Sinai coast where the water is Red Sea and the table is Egyptian first, Bedouin second. For a private jet menu at HETB we build around what the South Sinai Governorate actually eats and what holds in a galley: grilled sea bream and sayadiya fish rice on the hot side, mezze, fresh salads and local cheese on the cold side. Local specialities travel better when the sauce is packed apart and the herbs are added at re-plating. An inflight menu for Taba works best with a clear split between cold boards and dishes that need your oven. Private jet food here also means dates, tahini, and flatbread baked the same morning. If a guest asks for a Bedouin-style dish, tell us the headcount and the aircraft and we write it for your galley.

Think of the South Sinai Governorate as three tables: the sea, the desert and the Egyptian home kitchen. A private jet menu for Taba draws on all three. Sea bream and calamari from the Gulf of Aqaba, lamb and rice in the Bedouin manner, and ful, ta'ameya and baba ghanoush for guests who want something lighter. We keep local specialities honest: what leaves our kitchen is what you would be served in Taba, adapted to a galley with one oven. The inflight menu is written per flight, so a morning departure gets a very different private jet food list from a night one. Tell us your Taba arrival and we will plan around it.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Taba International Airport (HETB)

Taba sits on a high desert plateau above the Gulf of Aqaba, and the aircraft that land here are mostly business jets bound for the Sinai resorts. Private jet catering at Taba International is built for that traffic: light galleys, short turnarounds on the apron, and passengers who want the Red Sea on the plate. We run inflight catering, in-flight catering and aviation catering for the crew who serve them, with business aviation catering and executive jet catering menus planned around your type. Diplomatic flight catering and cabin crew meals follow the same rules as every other order.

Business aviationOur core

Private jet catering for business flights from Taba (HETB)

A typical Taba brief is a business jet with a small galley, six to ten guests and a Red Sea resort at the other end. Business jet catering here means a clear split between cold boards and dishes for your oven. Corporate jet catering and VIP flight catering follow the same plan, and charter flight catering gets the same care. Luxury inflight catering comes from a private jet chef who writes a bespoke menu around your aircraft and guests at Taba.

State & royalDiscretion, protocol

State visit and VIP aviation catering at Taba International Airport

Government flight catering at Taba starts with protocol: the menu is cleared, the guests are known, and the handover is quiet. Head of state flight catering follows the same line, with a named team and no name-dropping. VIP aviation catering and state visit aircraft catering are planned per movement, with traceable sourcing and a card for each dietary need.

Special meals

Dietary requirements and aviation catering at Taba International Airport (HETB)

Egyptian cooking carries allergens in places guests do not expect: tahini in dressings and dips, nuts in rice and desserts, wheat in fried toppings and bulgur. At Taba we plan special meals around that kitchen. Kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free, allergen free and kids meals are each packed on a separate board with a card for the guest, so your cabin crew can serve without second guessing. Halal is the default for local protein; for kosher we agree the sourcing and sealing before the slot.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals & pilot meals at Taba International Airport

For the people flying, crew meals are the quiet part of the order: on request, boxed, labelled. Flight crew meals at HETB can be hot or cold, pilot meals can be split, and crew catering is invoiced like any other line. Cockpit meals travel well, crew meal boxes fit the drawer, and different meals for pilots are written down so the right box lands on the right seat.

Ground handling and FBO catering at Taba International Airport

At Taba, FBO catering is passed to your handling agent at the general aviation terminal. Catering delivery to the FBO is planned around your slot, and ground handling catering follows airport access rules. Handling agent catering is simple: the gate is opened, the boxes go to the pad, and your crew takes over.

Large cabin jet catering with a high loader at Taba International Airport (TCP)

A business jet on the Taba apron rarely needs a high loader; a larger VIP aircraft does. Galley catering for bigger types starts with the door height and the galley layout, and we confirm the airside catering delivery with your handling agent before the slot. Aircraft provisioning at HETB is planned by type: trolleys and boxes for wide-body doors, hand-carried trays for light jets. Tell us the tail and we work from there.

About the airportHETB / TCP

Airport catering at Taba International Airport (HETB)

HETB serves Taba and the Red Sea coast around the Gulf of Aqaba. It is a compact field with a general aviation terminal, and airport catering here is mostly one aircraft at a time. The FBO services and ground handling services you will deal with are small in scale, so the apron stays quiet and a handover is easy to follow. Tell us the type and the slot.

Business aviation

Taba International is a business aviation hub for the Red Sea resorts, and inflight catering here is planned flight by flight, not from a standing list. Our in-flight catering and aviation catering cover business aviation catering and executive jet catering for the resort traffic, diplomatic flight catering for official movements, and cabin crew meals and crew meals for the people flying. FBO services and ground handling services on the field are modest, so we write each order around what the handling agent can pass on the day.

Customs & food import

Egypt applies food-import rules, so what you carry in is subject to customs inspection, and local sourcing is the easy route. For a Taba order we declare the contents on the box and hand over at the FBO, so the ground handling services team can pass it cleanly.

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“Menu approval at Taba International Airport covered chicken skewers with a couscous salad for 4 guests, leaving us to organise the service around a revised passenger count. For FBO catering, that attention to written menu details made the order noticeably easier to manage. The Galley Girls confirmed the handover contact and identified the salads, making the catering delivery easier for our team to track. The cabin team could match the snack boxes to the request before moving on to the remaining departure tasks.”

★★★★★VIP AIRLINER
“Having 3 guests request roasted chicken and seasonal vegetables at HETB meant planning the portions carefully while accounting for a short ground stop. I would discuss airport catering with them again, especially when written menu details needs careful coordination. I asked The Galley Girls to review the breakfast portions quantities against the passenger brief, and the proposed portions made sense. It was useful to see the crew provisions listed separately when checking how much space the complete order would require.”

★★★★★CHARTER
“Rather than an elaborate service at TCP, our 8 guests wanted prawn salad and small fruit plates, organised sensibly around limited fridge space. The Galley Girls labelled the side dishes in line with our brief, so the cabin team could identify the relevant portions quickly. The fruit plates were also listed clearly, which made it easier to pass instructions between crew members during preparation. Our brief for inflight catering was met with a sensible plan for written menu details.”

Before you order at HETBAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost at Taba?+

A quote for a Taba flight reflects what the country lets in and what the Sinai kitchens can source. Grilled fish, rice, salads and dates are local and keep the figure moderate; foreign specialities are checked at customs and add a line. How much private jet catering costs for your trip depends on that split.

What is the lead time for private jet catering on a delegation flight into HETB?+

Delegation flights need a clear menu before the kitchen starts, so lead time depends on how fast approvals come back. Taba traffic is thin enough that we can usually fit a late request, and last-minute orders are handled.

What about customs for catering on a night departure or early slot at Taba?+

A late or early slot does not change the rules but it changes who is available to check them. Our packing at HETB is built so an inspection is quick: clear labels, sealed boxes, local items first, and the customs declaration written on the lid.

Can you bring food from home for a Taba flight, or should we use local items?+

Guests sometimes ask if you can bring food they like. At HETB it goes through customs like any import, so we suggest swapping it for one local item we can pack, such as dates or tahini sweets, and the galley gets something that clears the gate without fuss.

Is catering part of a charter into Taba when the passenger count changes late?+

A charter covers the aircraft, not the food. At HETB you order catering with us, and it is invoiced as its own line. When the headcount moves at the last minute, send the new number and we repack to match.
