Private jet catering at Doha International Airport (OTBD / DIA), Doha

Catering to your aircraft in Doha.

OTBD sits at 35 ft above sea level on the Gulf, and between May and September the apron is hot enough that anything cold has to stay sealed until the galley. We cook, pack and label for the aircraft you actually fly, and hand it over at the FBO or to your handling agent.

Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

The local tableCooked so it travels

Inflight catering with the flavours of Doha (DIA)

A private jet menu for Doha leans on Gulf cooking: grilled hammour from local fishermen, lamb machboos, balaleet for breakfast, fresh dates with Arabic coffee. Each dish is packed for the oven you actually have on the aircraft.

Inflight menu choices here depend on the season. In the long heat between May and September, we pack cold plates sealed and well insulated, and keep creamy sauces in separate pots. In winter the ramp is gentler and warm mezze travel with less risk.

Private jet food from Doha reflects the Ad-Dawhah Municipality kitchen: spiced rice, grilled fish, luqaimat for dessert, laban to drink. Each local speciality is labelled by seat and restriction so the cabin team re-plates without questions.

We name local specialities on the menu because Gulf guests expect them; whatever is cooked, sauce rides apart and cold items come last into the cart.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Doha International Airport (OTBD)

Doha International closed to scheduled traffic years ago and now belongs to business aviation, which changes what a galley order looks like: fewer trays, more discretion, more halal-aware menus. Private jet catering here is packed by former VIP flight attendants who know the drawer you will open at cruise. Inflight catering, in-flight catering and aviation catering all start with the same sheet: tail, slot, seat plan. Business aviation catering and executive jet catering for Gulf operators lean on Arabic coffee service and sealed mezze; diplomatic flight catering follows protocol set by the visiting delegation, and cabin crew meals ride in their own marked boxes.

Business aviationOur core

VIP flight and private jet catering at Doha International Airport (OTBD)

Business jet catering at Doha International is built around Gulf hospitality: mezze, grilled fish and Arabic coffee served from a galley that is often small. Corporate jet catering for Doha-based flight departments follows a fixed brief, while VIP flight catering and charter flight catering lean on halal defaults and seat-by-seat cards. A private jet chef writes a bespoke menu around the aircraft and the guest list, and luxury inflight catering at OTBD stays quiet and precise.

Halal, kosher and kids meals: inflight catering at Doha International Airport (DIA)

At Doha International (OTBD) we treat kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free, allergen free and kids meals as a procedure, not a label. Halal is the local default and kosher requests are packed sealed with the card on the tray; special meals ride in their own marked box. Gulf cooking hides allergens in the obvious places here: tahini, nuts in rice, ghee in breads. The diet card goes with the seat plan so cabin crew know which tray belongs to whom.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Flight crew meals on request at Doha International Airport

Crew meals at OTBD are on request and invoiced with the rest of the order, never added to a trip by default. Flight crew meals can be cold boxes for a long ramp wait or hot plates for the galley oven; pilot meals are packed so one hand can eat them in the cockpit, and cockpit meals can differ between captain and first officer when the operator policy asks for it. Crew catering at Doha stays easy to carry on a hot apron, and crew meal boxes are marked CREW so nobody opens a passenger tray. Different meals for pilots are available when the operator wants that separation.

FBO catering and handling agent delivery at Doha International Airport

FBO catering at Doha International means delivery to the terminal that handles your aircraft. We hand over catering delivery to the FBO to the person named by your handling agent, and ground handling catering is coordinated for the apron rules. The general aviation terminal at OTBD receives the order, and handling agent catering is cleared in advance with the ramp.

Aircraft provisioning for large cabins: airport catering at Doha International Airport

Galley catering at Doha depends on the aircraft: a Challenger or Global may take trays by hand up the airstairs, while a large VIP airliner needs a high loader at the door. Airside catering delivery follows the ramp rules set by the handling agent, and aircraft provisioning for larger types is agreed ahead against the galley plan. Tell us the type and the door and we pack accordingly.

About the airportOTBD / DIA

Airport catering at Doha International Airport (OTBD)

Doha International Airport is a former national hub that now serves general aviation and business flights on a ramp that remembers larger traffic. Airport catering here means working with handling agents, short ramp walks in the heat and clear instructions. General aviation is the dominant use of the field today.

Business aviation

Doha is a business aviation hub where inflight catering, in-flight catering and aviation catering meet Gulf hospitality. Business aviation catering and executive jet catering follow a halal-first menu; diplomatic flight catering stays discreet, and cabin crew meals ride in their own marked boxes. FBO services and ground handling services at OTBD shape the delivery.

Customs & food import

Qatar controls the import of pork, alcohol and certain meats, so catering for Doha is sourced locally whenever possible. Customs may inspect inbound food at the ramp, and waste from long legs is declared and disposed of through the handling agent. We keep an itemised sheet on file for each order.

★★★★★CHARTER
“What impressed me at OTBD was how a request for vegetable tartlets and a dessert selection was handled despite limited fridge space. I asked The Galley Girls for the canapés in clearly marked packs, with garnishes supplied separately for plating on board. The crew provisions stayed together in one group, so another crew member could follow the same plating sequence. The order made private jet menu feel manageable because the storage requirements had been considered beforehand.”

★★★★★LARGE CABIN
“Our priority at DIA was roasted vegetable bowls with separate dressings for 6 passengers, with a family lunch request shaping the service plan. The Galley Girls understood why we wanted the desserts readily accessible instead of spread across several different boxes. We left the side dishes stored until needed, which kept the first service manageable and reduced unnecessary handling. I want a private jet chef to understand final order confirmation, and this order gave us a useful starting point.”

★★★★★LIGHT JET
“Despite limited fridge space, we wanted the 6 guests at Doha International Airport to enjoy a cold lunch with cheese and fruit without a complicated cabin service. Our handling contact received the order details from The Galley Girls, including how the fruit plates had been grouped. Our brief for in flight catering was met with a sensible plan for portion planning. We could account for the sauces before passing the boxes to the cabin team, without a lengthy unpacking exercise.”

Before you order at OTBDAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost at Doha International?+

We price a private jet catering order from three things: the aircraft type, the dishes, and how many guests dine. Local fish and lamb sit at one end, dates and laban at the other. A quote follows once we know the tail.

What is the lead time for catering at OTBD?+

Order when you can, and we handle what comes later. Doha departures at odd hours are common, and last-minute orders are handled. The only things that need real notice are special diets and a large state-visit menu.

What does customs mean for inflight catering at Doha?+

Customs for aviation catering is handled with the handling agent: a clean itemised list, sealed trays and dated labels. For Doha, no pork products and no alcohol labelled for passengers without local approval.

Can you bring food for a private jet at Doha, or must it be ordered?+

You may bring food, although customs and handling agents can ask about it. A special-meal request is easier ordered from a kitchen that tracks allergens, because the card follows the tray from the pass to the seat.

Is catering part of a charter into Doha?+

No. Catering is ordered and billed separately from the charter. Tell us if you want something local such as hammour or balaleet and we add it to the menu.
