For a private jet menu out of Ryanggang Province, we start from the pantry of the north: potatoes, buckwheat, wild mountain greens, mushrooms and river fish. Samjiyŏn Airport sits at 4,547 ft on the Ryanggang plateau, where cold air and thin summers shape what a galley can carry. At Samjiyŏn the diet question starts with the local kitchen: soy, sesame, shellfish stock and wheat noodles turn up where you do not expect them. For a rotation through ZKSE, crew meals are ordered on request and invoiced with the trip. Flight crew meals travel in crew meal boxes marked by seat; pilot meals come as two different dishes, so different meals for pilots is the default. Crew catering and cockpit meals are built to eat quickly between tasks, and we keep them apart from guest trays.
FBO catering at Samjiyŏn is handed over at the aircraft on your slot. Catering delivery to the FBO is arranged with your handling agent, who knows the access to the general aviation terminal and the apron. Ground handling catering and handling agent catering follow the same flow: confirm the tail, we pack, the hand-over happens at the foot of the steps.
Samjiyŏn is a high plateau field, and the aircraft type decides how the load goes in: door height, whether a high loader is needed, and the galley fitted. For galley catering we match the pack to your aircraft. Airside catering delivery follows your handling agent's access rules at YJS, and aircraft provisioning is confirmed against the tail before departure.

Samjiyŏn Airport serves the town of Samjiyŏn and the Mount Paektu area in Ryanggang Province, a plateau field at 4,547 ft where cold sets the tempo. General aviation traffic is thin, so airport catering here is confirmed order by order against the tail, and FBO services and ground handling services are arranged through your handling agent rather than assumed.
Calling Samjiyŏn a business aviation hub would overstate it, yet the field does take private flights, and winter decides a great deal. North Korea applies strict controls on imported food, so catering for Samjiyŏn is declared against the manifest and surplus does not leave with the aircraft. Rules can shift from one flight to the next, which is why we confirm requirements with your handling agent, and with whoever provides FBO services and ground handling services on the ramp, before we cook.

Start from the slot at Samjiyŏn: turnaround length determines whether we pack hot or cold, and the packing determines the cost of private jet catering. Local river fish in season, for instance, costs more than buckwheat noodles.
Ordering the way back from YJS is easiest when it is part of the first order: same tail, same galley, new slot. Late requests are handled and invoiced like any order.
If the headcount at ZKSE moves, customs paperwork has to move with it. We repack for the new number and your handling agent corrects the declaration. Leftovers do not go back on the aircraft.
You can ask, but North Korean customs rules make carrying your own food into Samjiyŏn uncertain. It is simpler to order here and add one local product, such as mountain mushrooms or buckwheat, to the menu.
No, catering is separate from a private jet charter. At Samjiyŏn, night and early-morning departures are common enough that we plan the hand-over with your handling agent in advance.
