Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

Camille, former VIP cabin crew, co-founder
Camille

Fourteen years on VIP and head-of-state cabins. Can plate for twelve in a G650 galley and still land it hot.

Inès, former VIP cabin crew, co-founder
Inès

The one who reads every diet card twice. If it says no cross-contact, it means no cross-contact.

Sofia

Answers at 5 a.m. when the leg moved overnight. Same-day swaps are her love language.

What Kitakyushu brings to your in-flight catering (KKJ)

Kitakyushu sits at the northern tip of Kyushu, in Fukuoka Prefecture, and the regional pantry is strong. A private jet menu built here can lean on Hakata-style tonkotsu broth, karashi mentaiko (spiced pollock roe), sesame-dressed mackerel known as goma saba, and the sweet-savoury Kitakyushu staple of nuka-miso simmered sardine, nuka-daki. That is the local specialities list we pack from.

An inflight menu for Kitakyushu travels differently by dish. Ramen broth goes in a sealed pot with noodles and toppings apart, so the guest gets a proper bowl after re-plating. Mentaiko is served chilled, never heated. Mizutaki chicken hot pot from Fukuoka can be portioned for the galley oven. The whole private jet food list is written for what a galley can finish, not what a restaurant can plate.

Seasonality matters on RJFR. Fukuoka Prefecture is known for amaou strawberries in winter and spring, Yame tea year round, and Kyushu wagyu whenever the order calls for it. We pack these as private jet food for the Kitakyushu apron: fruit chilled and cut by seat, tea as loose leaf with a pot, wagyu portioned raw or cooked and labelled for the oven.

Our team, all former VIP flight attendants, packs inflight catering, aviation catering and business aviation catering for the galley you actually have, with executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering handled the same way, and cabin crew meals boxed apart.

Business aviationOur core

Corporate and VIP jet catering at Kitakyushu Airport (KKJ)

Business jet catering at Kitakyushu is usually a late or early request, since the airport runs round the clock. For corporate jet catering, VIP flight catering and charter flight catering, our private jet chef writes a bespoke menu around Fukuoka Prefecture produce and the aircraft's galley. Luxury inflight catering here means sea bream, wagyu and ramen portioned for the seat, not decoration.

Government flight and VIP aviation catering at Kitakyushu Airport

For a state delegation landing at RJFR, we treat VIP aviation catering as a protocol exercise. Government flight catering and head of state flight catering start with an approved menu and a named contact. State visit aircraft catering is packed sealed and handed over only to the people you name.

Dietary requirements and aviation catering at Kitakyushu Airport (RJFR)

At Kitakyushu the hidden allergens sit in dashi, soy and sesame, so dietary meals here are a written procedure, not a label. Kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free, allergen free, kids meals and other special meals are cooked and sealed apart, numbered by seat, and handed over with the seat plan so the cabin crew knows exactly which box belongs to whom.

i.
Allergens

A sheet per guest. Separate boards, separate boxes.

ii.

iii.

Vegan, low-carb, light — composed, never compromised.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals on request for flights from Kitakyushu (KKJ)

Between the apron and the next sector, crew meals at RJFR have to be quick to eat. We pack flight crew meals, pilot meals and cockpit meals in crew meal boxes, with crew catering ordered on request and billed as a normal line. Different meals for pilots are available, and cabin crew meals go in separate marked boxes.

Aircraft provisioning for large cabins: airport catering at Kitakyushu Airport

Galley catering for larger aircraft at Kitakyushu is planned around the aircraft type and its door height. Airside catering delivery to the apron and aircraft provisioning with a high loader are arranged through your handling agent, so the trolleys reach the galley door without anyone carrying a tray up a stair. Tell us the type and we plan the load around the galley you have.

About the airportRJFR / KKJ

General aviation and airport catering at Kitakyushu Airport (KKJ)

Kitakyushu Airport opened on an artificial island in the Seto Inland Sea, with a 3,000 m runway and round-the-clock operation. Airport catering here serves general aviation and business jets alongside scheduled traffic, and FBO services and ground handling services are available through the handling agent.

Business aviation

For a business aviation hub with an island runway, Kitakyushu is simple to work with. Business aviation catering, executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering all follow one process, as do inflight catering, in-flight catering and aviation catering generally. Cabin crew meals are boxed apart and numbered.

Customs & food import

Quarantine rules in Japan apply to animal and plant products entering the country. For Kitakyushu, ordering locally is the practical answer, and any leftover food is handled according to Japanese rules, with the handling agent as your contact.

★★★★★VIP AIRLINER
“Keeping the galley organised at Kitakyushu Airport meant planning a mezze selection with flatbreads for 3 guests with a late menu amendment in mind. I appreciated the emphasis on catering handover throughout the business aviation catering arrangements. I gave The Galley Girls our storage brief and asked for the sauces to arrive in divided catering boxes. I could hand the fruit plates to a colleague with a short explanation instead of unpacking the whole order.”

★★★★☆CHARTER
“Several practical details needed attention at RJFR, with grilled salmon with a lemon dressing requested for 11 guests and a changing departure schedule to accommodate. With several people involved, The Galley Girls kept the sandwiches and delivery arrangements together in a concise order update. We could account for the main courses before passing the boxes to the cabin team, without a lengthy unpacking exercise. My main takeaway from this jet catering order was the practical approach to catering handover.”

★★★★★GOVERNMENT
“It was the packing plan I cared about at KKJ, with 8 servings of grilled salmon with a lemon dressing and a revised passenger count to consider. Instead of asking us to improvise, The Galley Girls explained how the side dishes could be arranged during service. The desserts stayed together in one group, so another crew member could follow the same plating sequence. My main takeaway from this VIP flight catering order was the practical approach to written menu details.”

Before you order at RJFRAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost at Kitakyushu Airport?+

Think per dish. Mentaiko rice balls, tempura vegetables and a tonkotsu ramen set each carry their own price, and the total moves with how many guests board. How much private jet catering costs at Kitakyushu is clear once the headcount and menu are fixed, and a count that changes late is simply re-priced.

What lead time do you need at Kitakyushu?+

Seasonal items shape the lead time more than the runway does. Amaou strawberries or fresh sea bream need a firm order, while ramen kits and bento can be built quickly. For a long leg with two services on board, send the plan and we handle the rest, and last-minute orders are handled too.

What about customs for catering at Kitakyushu?+

Fresh produce, meat and dairy brought into Japan face quarantine checks, so customs is the reason to buy locally. An empty repositioning leg usually needs only crew meals, which we cook in Fukuoka Prefecture, and any leftover food and its disposal rules are noted on the order.

Can you bring food to Kitakyushu or do you supply it?+

Can you bring food? A crew arriving with its own still needs the handling agent to approve airside access. We coordinate that for our orders, so nothing waits at the terminal and the handover happens at the aircraft.

Is catering part of a charter into Kitakyushu?+

No, is catering part of a charter is a fair question, and the answer is that it is not. Whether the departure is at night or at dawn, you order the catering separately, and we invoice it as its own order. The airport's round-the-clock availability makes either slot workable.
