Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

The local tableCooked so it travels

The Osaka table, packed for private jet catering

Osaka calls itself the nation's kitchen, and a private jet menu from Osaka Prefecture reads accordingly: okonomiyaki griddled and cut into wedges, takoyaki in a sealed tray with the sauce on the side, hako-zushi pressed in a wooden box that rides cold in the drawer. Local specialities like Kobe beef arrive in slices the crew can sear or serve as a cold roast, with ponzu in its own pot.

Our inflight menu for Osaka keeps wagashi, matcha sweets and seasonal fruit from the Kansai region for the end of service. Private jet food built on these local specialities stays honest to the cuisine: nothing is reinvented, it is simply packed for a galley with one oven and a drawer. Gourmet inflight meals, private jet platters and private jet snacks all carry the Osaka label.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Kansai International Airport (RJBB)

Kansai International sits on a man-made island in Osaka Bay, and its single-runway rhythm of overnight arrivals and early Asia departures shapes every galley we pack. Private jet catering at RJBB means Osaka's food adapted to a business jet: inflight catering that survives a Pacific sector, in-flight catering plated by the crew, aviation catering that respects Japanese import rules, and business aviation catering built by former VIP flight attendants. Executive jet catering for a Kobe beef dinner, diplomatic flight catering for delegations, and cabin crew meals boxed separately are all ordered the same way, by phone or email, 24/7.

Business aviationOur core

Business aviation catering at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

A typical order at RJBB starts with a corporate jet or charter flight bound for Tokyo, Seoul or Singapore, six to ten guests, an evening slot. Corporate jet catering here often means Kobe beef or a sushi course, and business jet catering is briefed around the galley, the sector and the guest list. Our private jet chef writes a bespoke menu for the cabin: inflight catering and in-flight catering that finish in the oven or stay cold, executive jet catering for a boardroom crowd, VIP flight catering for the principal, charter flight catering for a one-off trip, and luxury inflight catering when the guest list asks for more.

State visit and VIP aviation catering at Kansai International Airport

Delegations arriving at Kansai need discretion more than flourish. Government flight catering is planned around protocol, dietary lists and traceability; head of state flight catering and VIP aviation catering stay quiet, accurate and sealed, and state visit aircraft catering is delivered to the aircraft exactly as agreed.

Halal, kosher and kids meals: inflight catering at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Osaka cooking hides allergens in places a guest would not guess: dashi built on fish and bonito, soy and wheat in nearly every sauce, egg in okonomiyaki batter, sesame in dressings. Special meals for kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free and allergen free requests are therefore cooked on a separate board and boxed apart, with the seat number on the lid, and kids meals follow the same procedure. Tell us the restriction with the tail and we confirm what the local kitchen can do without cross-contact.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals & pilot meals at Kansai International Airport

Crew meals at Kansai are ordered on request and invoiced like the rest of the order. Flight crew meals for a long duty day are packed in crew meal boxes, labelled CREW and kept apart from guest trays. Pilot meals and cockpit meals are made to be eaten one-handed, and we can supply different meals for pilots when the operator's policy asks for it. Crew catering of this kind also works for cabin crew meals on the ground wait.

DeliveryEvery FBO

Ground handling and FBO catering at Kansai International Airport

FBO catering at Kansai means the food is handed over at the FBO or the general aviation terminal, to your handling agent or at the foot of the aircraft, on your slot. Ground handling catering is coordinated with the handling agent who opens the right gate; handling agent catering is simply the same order, delivered where your agent can meet it. Catering delivery to the FBO at RJBB is the usual route for general aviation traffic on the island.

High loaderLarge cabins, bizliners

High loader delivery for jet catering at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

At RJBB the aircraft type decides how the food reaches the cabin: a light jet needs a small van and a hand carry up the stairs, a large-cabin or VIP-configured airliner needs a high loader to the main door. We plan galley catering and airside catering delivery to the door height and the galley you actually have, and we handle aircraft provisioning for bigger types the same way, with trolleys and carts marked by galley position.

About the airportRJBB / KIX

General aviation and airport catering at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Kansai International opened in 1994 on an artificial island in Osaka Bay and serves the Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe region. For airport catering, that means a single hub where general aviation shares a runway with the airlines, and where FBO services and ground handling services are set up for business jets.

Business aviation

KIX works as a business aviation hub for the Kansai region, with general aviation traffic using the same runway as the airlines. Inflight catering, aviation catering, business aviation catering and executive jet catering all depend on the season and the slot, while diplomatic flight catering and cabin crew meals follow the same booking process.

Customs & food import

Japan enforces strict agricultural and food quarantine: meat, dairy, fresh fruit and plant products from abroad can be held or discarded at customs. In practice this means ordering locally for the aircraft and the crew, and letting us handle the packing and labelling that keeps customs questions simple.

★★★★★CREW MEALS
“A request for a cheese board and savoury canapés, 12 passengers, and a small galley worktop: that was our brief for the departure at KIX. With aviation catering services, careful attention to crew briefing matters as much to our crew as the menu itself. I wanted clear identification on the sauces; The Galley Girls made the packing arrangement easy to compare with the order. The side dishes were also listed clearly, which made it easier to pass instructions between crew members during preparation.”

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“As the person coordinating yoghurt pots and fresh berries for 3 passengers at Kansai International Airport, I needed an arrangement that considered a revised passenger count. I want an aviation catering company to understand catering handover, and this order gave us a useful starting point. We described our serving sequence to The Galley Girls and asked for the sauces to be packed accordingly. We left the fruit plates stored until needed, which kept the first service manageable and reduced unnecessary handling.”

★★★★★LARGE CABIN
“One detail shaped our order at RJBB: different crew meal preferences, alongside a request for grilled salmon with a lemon dressing for 8 passengers. I gave The Galley Girls our storage brief and asked for the breakfast portions to arrive in shallow trays. We placed the desserts in their planned storage area without first having to reorganise all the catering boxes. When comparing aviation catering companies, I would look closely at catering handover after this experience.”

Asked before every RJBB slotAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost for a flight out of Osaka that features Kobe beef?+

The price of private jet catering at Kansai depends on what you put on the menu, and one product moves it most: Kobe or Matsusaka beef. A plate of local sushi, takoyaki and fruit sits at the low end, while a full wagyu dinner for a delegation sits well above it. We quote per menu, never per tray, once we know the headcount.

What lead time do you need for a departure slot from Kansai, and what if the turnaround is short?+

Lead time here is shaped by the island airport's single runway and a busy early-morning departure bank. If your slot sits in that bank, send the request as soon as the trip is firm; if it does not, last-minute orders are still handled, and we confirm the plan with your handling agent.

What happens with customs on a long crew duty day and waiting on the ground at Kansai?+

A crew sitting out a long duty period at Kansai should know that agricultural quarantine is taken seriously: uneaten fruit, meat sandwiches or cheese from the last port may be declared or removed. We supply fresh local crew meals instead, so nothing needs to cross the border in a galley.

Can you bring food onto the aircraft for a special-meal request, such as kosher, halal, allergen or child meals at Kansai?+

Special-meal requests are exactly where we step in: tell us the restriction with the tail, and we cook, seal and label the dish here. If the guest prefers to bring something familiar, keep it sealed and declare it, but expect Japanese customs to look closely.

Is catering part of a charter for a delegation or government flight into Kansai?+

Whether the charter carries a head of state or a business delegation, catering stays outside it. Your operator or broker orders it separately, and we invoice it like any other order, with menu approval handled quietly and discreetly.
