On RODN the ramp belongs to the base, so anything for a visiting jet arrives through your handling agent and the FBO desk rather than a public gate. Okinawan cooking hides fish stock, dashi and pork lard in dishes that look plain, so a special meal here is cleared in the kitchen before it is cooked. Kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free and allergen free requests, as well as kids meals, are written on a separate card and packed apart from the other trays, with seat numbers instead of names. Tell us the restriction and the headcount and we build the special meals around local produce such as sweet potato, tofu and island vegetables.

On Okinawa, crew meals are a separate line on the order. We pack flight crew meals, pilot meals and cockpit meals as crew catering in crew meal boxes, and different meals for pilots can be arranged when the operator asks. Cabin crew meals are ordered and invoiced the same way, on request.
The FBO catering order for RODN ends at the foot of your aircraft stairs, not at a terminal counter. Catering delivery to the FBO runs through your handling agent at the general aviation terminal; ground handling catering and handling agent catering are coordinated so the van reaches the apron on your slot.
At a base like Kadena, the aircraft type decides how the food reaches the cabin. A light jet takes a cart to the door; a larger business jet may need a high loader at the galley door. Galley catering is therefore briefed by tail: door height, oven count, drawer space. A government flight into Okinawa carries two checks: protocol, then Japanese food import rules. We keep the order local, confirm it with your handling agent, and hand it over at the aircraft.
At RODN a last-minute count is no problem for an order placed with us, because the dishes are portioned per seat. Food brought from outside is subject to customs and may not match the new number.
No. The charter covers the aircraft; the meals are a separate order and are invoiced on their own, like any other order. If you fly two services on one leg from RODN, order them together and the second is packed to keep without cooking.
