Hachijojima is part of Tōkyō Prefecture but lives by its own rules: a volcanic island in the Izu chain, warm, windy and surrounded by fishing water. A private jet menu for Hachijojima Airport draws on that: the island's sea fish, its ashitaba leaf, shochu culture and the sweet, smoky flavours of the Izu islands.
The inflight menu starts with what the sea gives. Island kusaya, the fermented and dried fish, is strong and divisive, so we pack it sealed and apart, and only on request. Private jet food from here also means milder things: sashimi-grade local fish served chilled, ashitaba tempura that re-plates from the oven, and simple rice dishes that survive a galley.
Private jet platters from this island are built cold and sturdy: sliced fish, pickled vegetables, fruit from the warm climate, set out to travel. Gourmet inflight meals and private jet snacks follow the same logic, with local specialities packed so they come out of the drawer ready to plate. Because supply on a remote island is seasonal, we agree the Hachijojima selection with you rather than promising a fixed list.
