Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

Local specialities from Fussa for your inflight catering

Tōkyō Prefecture gives a private jet menu a strong local base, and Fussa itself is known for its sake brewing tradition in the Tama river valley. A private jet menu for RJTY can lean on Japanese cold dishes that travel well in a galley drawer: sushi and sashimi plated on the day, chilled soba with the dipping sauce packed apart, and onigiri in individual wraps. These local specialities suit an inflight menu because they need no oven and no cooking on board. Private jet food from Tokyo's tradition also includes tempura and tonkatsu, which we pack so the crisp coating survives the ride to the FBO. Gourmet inflight meals follow the same logic, and private jet platters of seasonal fruit (Japanese melon, strawberries, persimmon in autumn) are cut by passenger. Private jet snacks run to senbei, mochi and edamame. Every dish is described by how it finishes in your galley, not by promise.

The Tōkyō Prefecture table is a good fit for a private jet menu because so much of it is built to be eaten cold or lightly warmed. Our inflight menu for Yokota covers bento-style boxes with the rice, protein and pickles in separate compartments, plus local specialities such as Tama-area wasabi and Tokyo-style soba. Private jet food here is mostly a matter of keeping textures apart: tempura packed dry with the tentsuyu in its own pot, tonkatsu sliced with the sauce apart. Gourmet inflight meals and private jet platters are plated for re-service in your galley, and private jet snacks (rice crackers, mochi, roasted nuts, edamame) fill the drawer for the second leg. The seasonal fruit platter changes with the month, so tell us the date and we choose what is best.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Yokota Air Base (RJTY)

Yokota Air Base sits on the western edge of the Kantō plain at 463 ft, and most movements here are government and official traffic rather than scheduled business. Private jet catering for RJTY is built around that: protocol-friendly menus, sealed packing and a clear handover at the FBO. Our former VIP flight attendants handle inflight catering, in-flight catering for long legs and aviation catering for corporate and charter crews alike. Business aviation catering, executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering all follow the same rule: you tell us the tail and the galley, we cook and pack for it, with cabin crew meals available on request.

Business aviationOur core

Business aviation catering at Yokota Air Base (OKO)

Business jet catering at Yokota is usually built around an official or corporate passenger who needs a quiet, discreet trip through Fussa. For corporate jet catering and VIP flight catering, our private jet chef writes a bespoke menu around the aircraft's galley. Charter flight catering and luxury inflight catering follow the same brief: seat plan, restrictions, galley type. Private jet charter operators ordering for RJTY get the same packing as any other client.

State & royalDiscretion, protocol

Inflight catering for government and royal flights at Yokota Air Base

Yokota handles more government and official traffic than most fields of its size, so government flight catering here is about protocol before taste. Head of state flight catering and VIP aviation catering are produced by a named team with traceability on every dish. State visit aircraft catering is cleared through the protocol office and the handling agent before anything is cooked, and handed over with discretion.

Special meals

Dietary requirements and aviation catering at Yokota Air Base (RJTY)

For Yokota, special meals start with the Japanese kitchen itself: soy, sesame, fish stock (dashi) and wheat hide in places a menu does not show. Kosher and halal requests are handled as a separate preparation with their own sealed packing, and vegan, gluten free and allergen free dishes are cooked apart from the rest of the order, with the restriction named on the lid. Kids meals are available too. Tell us the seat and the restriction when you order.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Flight crew meals on request at Yokota Air Base

When the aircraft sits at Yokota, the crew eats last and without a table. Crew meals are ordered on request and billed as part of your order. Flight crew meals come in boxes, pilot meals come with two different dishes for captain and first officer, crew catering is labelled CREW, and cockpit meals and crew meal boxes are packed for the flight deck. Different meals for pilots are always possible.

FBO catering at Yokota Air Base (OKO): delivery to your aircraft

FBO catering at Yokota goes through your FBO or handling agent, since base access sets how food reaches the aircraft. Catering delivery to the FBO or the general aviation terminal is coordinated in advance, and ground handling catering is planned with the handling agent catering team so the handover is at the aircraft.

High loaderLarge cabins, bizliners

Large cabin jet catering with a high loader at Yokota Air Base (OKO)

Yokota Air Base handles a wide range of aircraft types, from light jets to large government transports, and the aircraft decides how galley catering is loaded: door height, whether a high loader is needed, and the galley layout inside. Airside catering delivery at RJTY goes through your handling agent and the base access process, so give us the tail early. Aircraft provisioning for a larger airframe is planned around its galley carts and ovens, and we pack to match.

About the airportRJTY / OKO

Airport catering at Yokota Air Base (RJTY)

At Fussa, Yokota is a military airfield first and a business aviation hub second. General aviation movements run through the base, and airport catering depends on permission and access. Local FBO services and ground handling services handle the handover.

Business aviation

Yokota is not a typical business aviation hub; it is used for official, diplomatic and special flights. In-flight catering, inflight catering and aviation catering orders here are for crews familiar with base procedures. Business aviation catering and executive jet catering are available on the same basis, and diplomatic flight catering is a regular request. Cabin crew meals can be added to any order on request.

Customs & food import

Japanese customs apply to any food entering the country: fresh meat, fruit and plant products are tightly restricted. For a flight into Yokota, we recommend sourcing catering locally and declaring everything you carry. Your handling agent guides inspection, and leftover food is declared or discarded.

“Food presentation mattered to our 8 guests, but a revised passenger count also had to be considered when organising a cold lunch with cheese and fruit at OKO. With several people involved, The Galley Girls kept the desserts and delivery arrangements together in a concise order update. The fruit plates went straight to the right colleague instead of circulating between several people during the turnaround. I appreciated the emphasis on packing arrangement throughout the private aviation catering arrangements.”

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“Working around a small galley worktop at Yokota Air Base, I asked for yoghurt pots and fresh berries in portions appropriate for our 6 passengers. The sauces came from The Galley Girls in separate meal boxes, with a packing list that matched the contents. The salads were easy to locate, leaving the crew free to focus on the remaining cabin preparation. For our team, the strongest part of their business jet catering was how they handled packing arrangement.”

★★★★★VIP AIRLINER
“With a short ground stop to consider at RJTY, we needed a practical way to serve smoked salmon bagels and sliced fruit to 7 passengers. The Galley Girls grouped the crew provisions by service, which was more useful to us than simply receiving a list of dishes. With business aviation catering, careful attention to storage requirements matters as much to our crew as the menu itself. The snack boxes were reserved for the next stage, so the worktop stayed clear while we prepared the initial dishes.”

What crews ask before FussaAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost for a flight out of Yokota with a kosher or allergen request?+

Price per head moves with the menu and with how many restrictions are on the plan. A Japanese tasting spread with one vegan and one allergen-free guest costs less than a full kosher service for six. Send us the list and we price private jet catering for OKO exactly.

What is the lead time for a government or delegation flight at Yokota?+

Delegation flights are the one case where the menu needs protocol approval first. At OKO that approval, not the cooking, sets the lead time. Send the guest list and the seating, and we prepare as soon as it is cleared; last-minute changes are handled.

What about customs if the passenger count changes at the last minute?+

Customs on a Japanese field is about what enters the country, not what we deliver. A late headcount change at RJTY means we re-portion the order, and any food left after landing follows the declaration rules your handling agent explains.

Can you bring food on a long leg with two services on board?+

Outside food is possible, though customs on arrival in Japan is stricter than most. For a two-service leg we recommend ordering the second service cold from us, so you carry nothing across the border and still serve a full meal.

Is catering part of a charter for a short repositioning flight?+

Operators sometimes assume the charter takes care of meals. It does not: catering is a separate order. For a repositioning flight at RJTY we pack only what the crew needs, handed over to your handling agent, and invoice it separately.
