Private jet catering at Spirit of St Louis Airport (KSUS / SUS), St Louis

Catering to your aircraft in St Louis.

KSUS is a corporate airfield, not a hub: light jets, early departures, a Missouri river valley that turns humid in July. Crews here want food that holds, and we pack it that way for the FBO handover.

Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

Inflight catering with the flavours of St Louis (SUS)

St Louis eats from two traditions at once: Midwestern comfort and a very old Italian neighbourhood called The Hill. A private jet menu for Missouri leans on that, and the inflight menu we build for Spirit of St Louis starts from what travels well. Toasted ravioli, fried and then packed with the marinara apart, is the local classic that survives a galley. St. Louis-style thin-crust pizza with its Provel cheese is cut in squares and re-plated cold or finished in the oven. Private jet food in this region also means slow-smoked pork steaks and burnt ends from Missouri barbecue, packed with the sauce in its own pot. For a lighter option, Missouri-grown peaches and apples in season go on private jet platters. Our private jet platters, gourmet inflight meals and private jet snacks all carry these local specialities, labelled by seat number.

Missouri cooking is generous, which is exactly the problem in a small cabin. The private jet menu for St Louis works around that: dishes with a clear finish in the galley, nothing that collapses at altitude. Gooey butter cake is the city's own dessert and travels well, cut into squares in a tray. Toasted ravioli are a local speciality, sent with sauce apart, and St. Louis-style pizza arrives sliced for the drawer. Inflight menu and private jet food for this region also include Missouri smoked pork steaks, charred and carved, plus seasonal pawpaw and persimmon in autumn on private jet snacks and platters. We pack gourmet inflight meals for Missouri trips exactly like this, each box labelled by seat.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Spirit of St Louis Airport (KSUS)

Spirit of St Louis Airport sits at 463 feet in Chesterfield, a reliever field built for corporate traffic, and private jet catering here runs on the rhythm of Midwest business trips: early out-and-back days, quiet midday turns, late returns to the Missouri river valley. Your inflight catering arrives plane-side at the FBO, planned around the galley you actually have. For aviation catering across KSUS, we cover business aviation catering for executive jet catering, diplomatic flight catering and cabin crew meals, all written by former VIP flight attendants.

Business aviationOur core

Business jet & VIP jet catering at Spirit of St Louis Airport

Business jet catering at KSUS usually means four to eight passengers and one galley: corporate jet catering sized for small cabins, VIP flight catering for the executive who wants a plated lunch, charter flight catering for a day trip to Chicago or Dallas. Luxury inflight catering here pairs a private jet chef with a bespoke menu built around Missouri produce and what your galley can actually finish.

State visit and VIP aviation catering at Spirit of St Louis Airport

Government flight catering in St Louis is quiet work: a head of state flight catering request means protocol first, menu cleared before anything is cooked, and a named team. VIP aviation catering and state visit aircraft catering for KSUS follow the same discretion, whatever the delegation size.

Special meals

Kosher, halal, vegan and gluten free in-flight catering at Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS)

At Spirit of St Louis, special meals are a procedure, not a label. Allergens hide in the local favourites: wheat in toasted ravioli breading, dairy in the Provel on St. Louis pizza, tree nuts in the butter cake. So kosher, halal, vegan, gluten free and allergen free meals are cooked and boxed separately, with kids meals on request and seat numbers instead of names. Tell us the restriction when you send the tail and we answer with the plan for that cabin.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals on request for flights from St Louis (SUS)

At KSUS, a crew waiting through a long turn needs food that keeps. Crew meals on request, flight crew meals and pilot meals go into labelled boxes; crew catering covers the whole rotation. Cockpit meals are packed for the jumpseat, crew meal boxes need no cooking, and different meals for pilots are a standing option, invoiced as ordered. Cabin crew meals ride the same order.

Large cabin jet catering with a high loader at Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS)

When a larger aircraft arrives, aircraft provisioning at Spirit of St Louis is coordinated with your handling agent for airside catering delivery, according to door height and galley layout. Tell us the type and we plan the load.

About the airportKSUS / SUS

About Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS): airport catering for business aviation

Spirit of St Louis Airport, ICAO KSUS and IATA SUS, is a general aviation reliever in Chesterfield, Missouri. Airport catering here means a corporate field: FBO services on the ramp and ground handling services on call.

Business aviation

Spirit of St Louis is a business aviation hub for the western edge of the metropolitan area. Business aviation catering, executive jet catering and diplomatic flight catering all work from the same plan, whether the guests want inflight catering, in-flight catering or simply aviation catering with cabin crew meals on the side.

Customs & food import

Food from international flights must be declared to CBP on landing in Missouri, and some items cannot enter. Domestic catering from St Louis sidesteps the rule, so the order stays simple whichever way the trip arrives.

★★★★★CHARTER
“The 9 passenger portions of vegetarian wraps and colourful salads were the easy part; managing a family lunch request at KSUS took more planning. The canapés from The Galley Girls were organised around the cabin plan, with the later service items kept apart. I appreciated the emphasis on final order confirmation throughout the private jet catering services arrangements. The breakfast portions were reserved for the next stage, so the worktop stayed clear while we prepared the initial dishes.”

★★★★★BUSINESS JET
“Small packing details became important at SUS: our 10 passengers wanted poached fish with steamed rice, and we had a small galley worktop. I want a private jet catering company to understand packing arrangement, and this order gave us a useful starting point. After a final adjustment to the snack boxes, The Galley Girls gave us one revised order summary to work from. The note about the crew provisions was easy to spot, and we could brief the rest of the team quickly.”

★★★★★LARGE CABIN
“Rather than an elaborate service at Spirit of St Louis Airport, our 10 guests wanted a selection of petits fours and sandwiches, organised sensibly around a tight boarding window. When comparing private jet catering companies, I would look closely at written menu details after this experience. I wanted clear identification on the desserts; The Galley Girls made the packing arrangement easy to compare with the order. I found the salads without searching through every box, a small detail that mattered during the final cabin checks.”

Spirit of St Louis: the questionsAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost for a delegation or government flight into St Louis?+

A group flight with state or diplomatic guests costs what the menu costs: plated Missouri lamb or a seafood course is far above sandwich boxes. How much does private jet catering cost? We price after we know the cabin, guests and dietary restrictions, and the order is invoiced on its own at Spirit of St Louis.

What is the lead time for a kosher, halal, allergen or child meal at KSUS?+

Special meals have the same simple rule at KSUS: tell us early and we plan; tell us late and we still handle it, last-minute orders included. Kosher and allergen-free take priority because the margin for error is zero.

What happens with customs and food when the crew waits on the ground at Spirit of St Louis?+

Customs concern what you carry in, and local catering sidesteps that. For crews waiting during a long turn, crew meals arrive labelled CREW, so duty time is not eaten up by finding food.

Can you bring food on board, and what about a short turnaround at SUS?+

Passengers may carry food, though arriving from abroad, customs restrictions apply. Where the turnaround is tight, a prepared order at the aircraft saves the galley from improvised prep.

Is catering part of a charter into St Louis if I want a Missouri product on the menu?+

No: food is a separate order. Missouri peaches in season or Provel-topped pizza can be added, and that order is invoiced on its own, not with the private jet charter.
