For flights arriving from abroad, US customs limits fresh meat, dairy and produce, so we plan the menu around that. For domestic trips there is no such constraint and last-minute orders are handled.
On international arrivals, leftover food is typically disposed of under US rules. With a small galley, we pack sealed and portioned so little remains. For domestic flights, customs does not apply.
