Private jet catering at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base (RJNA / NKM), Nagoya

Catering to your aircraft in Nagoya.

Komaki is where Nagoya's executive traffic lands, beside a Self-Defense Force base, and the crews who come in need a galley they can actually finish: sealed local dishes, a short oven, and hands that know what a turnaround at RJNA looks like.

Three of us. All ex VIP cabin crew.

We know the galley, the diet card and the 5 a.m. re-plate — because we lived them. So we built the caterer we always wished we could call.

The local tableCooked so it travels

Local specialities from Nagoya for your inflight catering

Aichi Prefecture eats in its own dialect, and a good private jet menu for Nagoya borrows from it. Nagoya meshi is the shorthand locals use for the regional table: hitsumabushi, grilled eel over rice that is cut in four and eaten three ways; miso katsu, pork cutlet under a dark hatcho miso sauce; tebasaki, peppered wings; and kishimen, flat wheat noodles. For an inflight menu these travel as private jet food in separate parts so rice stays warm and sauces stay out of the crisp.

Our local specialities for the cabin are cut for what a galley can actually do. Private jet platters carry cold Aichi sets: nori-wrapped onigiri, ebi fry tartare, regional pickles. Gourmet inflight meals take the hot side: miso katsu with the sauce apart, hitsumabushi with the dashi in its own flask. Private jet snacks are ogura toast sandwiches and ebi senbei, the shrimp crackers of the Chita coast, packed in sealed pouches.

Nagoya is also coffee country: the morning set with a thick toast and boiled egg is part of the city's habits. We build that into a private jet menu for early departures from Aichi Prefecture, with a fresh-brewed flask and an inflight menu card in the guest's language.

The three founders, former VIP cabin crew, on a business jet airstair — private jet catering at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base (RJNA)

Aichi is the home of Japan's car makers, so Nagoya sees a steady stream of executive arrivals, and the kitchen side follows the same logic: private jet catering built for tight galleys and short turnarounds. Business aviation catering here covers executive jet catering for the Toyota-side visitors, diplomatic flight catering for official guests, and cabin crew meals boxed for the jumpseat.

  • Restaurant cuisine, cooked on the ground
  • Fresh and local produce
  • Labelled by seat, diet and reheat
  • Aviation-ready packaging

Business aviationOur core

Business jet & VIP jet catering at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base

Business jet catering at Nagoya starts with the brief the visiting executives actually give: a quiet lunch, a hot dinner on the return, a cold box for the jumpseat. Corporate jet catering and VIP flight catering follow the same line, with charter flight catering for the sector groups, luxury inflight catering for the cabin and a private jet chef building a bespoke menu around Aichi ingredients.

State & royalDiscretion, protocol

Diplomatic and state visit aviation catering in Nagoya (RJNA)

When an official party comes through RJNA, the menu is agreed with protocol before anything is cooked. Government flight catering uses Japanese ingredients cleared by customs; head of state flight catering and state visit aircraft catering are quiet, traced from kitchen to aircraft, and VIP aviation catering never carries a name on the label.

Special meals

Special meals for every diet: in-flight catering at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base

Nagoya's table leans on miso, soy, dashi and shellfish, so special meals are built around where those hide: hatcho miso sauce, dashi in rice and noodles, fish stock in soups. Kosher and halal plates are built from separate ingredients, not adapted from a standard menu; vegan and gluten free versions keep the soy and dashi in a sealed pot; allergen free and kids meals follow the passenger sheet, with allergens named in English and Japanese.

Crew & pilot mealsOn request

Crew meals on request for flights from Nagoya (NKM)

Ask for crew meals and we start with the crew, not the passengers: flight crew meals, pilot meals and cockpit meals packed as hand-held boxes, crew catering for the whole rotation, and crew meal boxes sealed and marked. Different meals for pilots are made without names; on request, invoiced with the order.

Airport catering at the FBO or general aviation terminal, Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base

The FBO at RJNA is the handover point: our FBO catering arrives sealed, your handling agent signs it through, and the general aviation terminal gets a single list. Catering delivery to the FBO, ground handling catering and handling agent catering all run from the same order.

High loader and aircraft provisioning: aviation catering at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base

Nagoya handles narrow-body business jets most days, and large-cabin aircraft on the longer international legs. When the aircraft sits high, galley catering goes up by high loader; otherwise it is passed by hand at the stairs. Airside catering delivery at RJNA runs through your handling agent on the civil apron, and aircraft provisioning follows the sequence you give the flight department: ice and drinks first, hot food last.

About the airportRJNA / NKM

About Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base (NKM): airport catering for business aviation

Nagoya Airport, known as Komaki, is the city's general aviation field, shared with a JASDF base on the flatlands of Aichi Prefecture. Airport catering here is easy to plan once you know the apron layout: civil traffic on one side, the military on the other, general aviation on its own stand. FBO services and ground handling services sit on the civil side, so a single handling agent can take in the galley, the ice and the crew boxes together.

Business aviation

Nagoya is a business aviation hub for Japan's industrial belt, and inflight catering, in-flight catering and aviation catering follow the executive rhythm: early arrivals, short stops, a cabin that turns quickly. Business aviation catering and executive jet catering run beside diplomatic flight catering for official guests, while cabin crew meals and crew meals go in the same boxed order. The FBO services and ground handling services at RJNA are used to this pattern, so the sealed handover is routine.

Customs & food import

Customs at RJNA applies Japanese animal and plant product rules: imported fresh items are the exception, Aichi-sourced items the norm. Order from local suppliers and the paperwork stays short. Your handling agent, as part of the ground handling services on the civil apron, receives the ingredient list, and the FBO services desk passes it to the officer.

★★★★★LIGHT JET
“Small packing details became important at NKM: our 3 passengers wanted avocado toast components and breakfast fruit, and we had an evening cabin service. With several people involved, The Galley Girls kept the fruit plates and delivery arrangements together in a concise order update. We could account for the side dishes before passing the boxes to the cabin team, without a lengthy unpacking exercise. My search for "private jet catering near me" led to a practical conversation about storage requirements.”

★★★★★CHARTER
“Between cabin checks at Nagoya Airport / JASDF Komaki Air Base, I coordinated prawn salad and small fruit plates for 12 guests and explained our concerns about a revised passenger count. The Galley Girls kept the main courses separate from the finishing elements, which gave us control over the final presentation. Keeping the breakfast portions aside until service helped preserve the presentation while we dealt with the boarding tasks. For our team, the strongest part of their private jet catering menu was how they handled packing arrangement.”

★★★★★CREW MEALS
“It was the packing plan I cared about at RJNA, with 6 servings of a cheese board and savoury canapés and a short ground stop to consider. The Galley Girls understood why we wanted the sandwiches readily accessible instead of spread across several different boxes. This experience of private aviation catering gave us a useful reference for managing meal organisation on another departure. We left the fruit plates stored until needed, which kept the first service manageable and reduced unnecessary handling.”

Nagoya in five questionsAsked by crews
How much does private jet catering cost for a Nagoya stop where the crew has to wait on the ground?+

A simple Nagoya sandwich-and-fruit service stays small; a hitsumabushi dinner plus a crew meal for a long layover does not. We price per menu, so the answer to how much private jet catering costs here comes from what you pick and how long the aircraft sits.

What is the lead time for a kosher, halal, allergen or child's special meal at Nagoya?+

If the guest has a medical allergy, say so first: Nagoya's miso and dashi are in much of the local food. We rebuild the plate around it and confirm the code back to you. Lead time then depends on the request, and a special meal changed late is still taken.

What do customs say about food on a delegation or government flight into Nagoya?+

On a delegation flight, we write the menu for the customs desk first: no raw meat or fresh fruit from abroad, local suppliers for everything fresh, ingredient lists attached. The Nagoya clearance then rests on documents your handling agent already knows.

Can you bring food on board if the passenger count changes at the last minute?+

A count that changes at the last minute is exactly when homemade food fails: nothing is portioned, nothing is labelled, and customs can stop it. We resize the order, add or remove seat-numbered portions, and your handling agent receives the final list.

Is catering part of a charter on a long leg out of Nagoya that needs two services?+

A long leg from RJNA usually means a hot meal early and a cold snack or breakfast later. That is a catering order, not a charter item: it is requested and invoiced separately. We label each service so your flight attendant knows which tray is which.
